Trip to Parkes this weekend to see the radio telescope

We took a trip to Parkes this weekend to see "The Dish"
The kids had an absolutely fantastic time. While we were there they got to watch three 3D movies and play with the remote contolled mini dish. We were even lucky enough to get to see the dish moving when we first arrived. It was a great weekend and the kids are already planning our next visit there.

FEBRUARY 2009

Well it has been quite some time since we updated our blog.
The kids are growing up so fast. Brandon is enjoying spending two days a week at Preschool and is learning alot. Today they discussed how they would feel if they lost there favourite toy in a bushfire. His teacher told us that every other kid at preschool said that they would feel sad, except our Brandon. He said it would make him CRANKY. At least he doesn't go along with the crowd.

Elizabeth is growing up too. Our little baby has turned into a cute little girl. She loves playing with her doll Amber and her tea set that Nanna bought her for christmas.

We have good news, we think. It looks like the Belmore St house is finally going to sell. We have to do some structural modifications but at least then hopefully we will be rid of it once and for all.

The kids had a Christmas tea at Josh's house

We had christmas tea at Brandon's friend Josh's house on saturday night, the kids had a great time, there were about ten kids all about the same age.

I just arrived home from Adelaide at midnight the night before. St Peters is in the picture I stayed at St Marks College for the week directly behind St Peters. (Across the road from the Adelaide Oval and I didn't get to see any of the cricket, except when I was looking through the gates as i was walking past.)

There are also some photos from my phone camera that i have taken this year.

Locust Locusts and more Locusts

Well the locusts arrived at our house big time last week while I was away in Adelaide, apparently Brandon ans Elizabeth had a great time catching them. They had a great feast on our lawn.
